The July Bulletin explores the science at the heart of blood, transplantation and patient care, introduced by Professor Renata Gomes, Chief Scientific Officer of NHS Blood and Transplant. The theme includes articles on Blood and Transplant Research Units, cellular and gene therapies, transfusion safety, data-driven transfusion practice, the case for medical haematology, and xenotransplantation.
The issue includes an introduction to our new President-Elect, Professor Sarah Coupland. The Training section features an update on the FRCPath Part 2 paediatric pathology exam.
