Report on the 3rd International Conference on Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma

Professor Amin Islam reports on this multiple myeloma and lymphoma conference.

On behalf of the organising committee, I am delighted to report on the successful International Conference on Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma, which took place on 9 August 2025 at the School of Medicine, Anglia Ruskin University.

We are ever grateful to our world-leading experts, who gathered and shared their knowledge to deliver high-quality scientific lectures in the fields of haematopathology, lymphomas and multiple myelomas – fields which are so frequently game-changers in cancer therapies.

I am very grateful to the College Vice President Professor Marta Cohen, and the Head and Deputy Head of the School of Medicine, Anglia Ruskin University for their presence and wholehearted support in organising the event.

The ever-changing landscape of modern cancer care requires the integration of diagnostics, therapeutics and decision-making using a multidisciplinary team approach. This timely conference will certainly influence decision-making, especially for leaders in these fields, to support our patients and healthcare providers in months and years to come.

We had over 100 invited participants, who were leading authorities and policymakers in their own institutions. This conference was a great success and will help us build a network of integrated modern haematology care, ultimately for the best outcomes for our patients, who we care for globally.
