Pathology is at the heart of healthcare; however, the profession faces a growing workforce crisis that threatens patient care.  Rising demand, staff shortages, and difficulties in recruitment and retention are putting pressure on services across all specialties.  Meeting these challenges requires a workforce that is properly resourced, supported, and planned for the future.  These reports set out the evidence, highlight pressures, and present recommendations for governments and health bodies.
