The 3rd RCPath Galea prize lecture was given on 18 June 2025 by Professor Brian Bigger at the British Inherited Metabolic Diseases Group's Annual Symposium in Edinburgh. Professor Bigger's lecture, entitled 'Gene therapy for childhood dementias', shared the latest in hematopoietic stem cell gene therapy for childhood dementia.
The citation and prize were presented by Dr Eve Miller-Hodges, who chaired the session. The College congratulates Professor Bigger.
