We are delighted to present the RCPath Veterinary Pathology Spring Webinar Series, a programme designed to engage and educate pathologists, residents, specialists, veterinary surgeons, and undergraduate students across all specialties. The series will feature sessions on anatomical pathology, clinical pathology, and microbiology, covering topics of current relevance and interest.

Calling all Residents! Following some excellent sessions on medical liver disease in 2025, and based on feedback received from delegates, the UK Liver Pathology Group in conjunction with the Royal College of Pathologists are pleased to announce the continuation of our virtual liver pathology bitesize series. Given the variability in exposure to liver pathology during training across the UK, some of the cases discussed will include FRCPath style cases, but also cover entities which pathologists may come across regularly as part of their working practice. There are six webinars which take place during 2026, which this year will be focussing on lesional liver pathology, and will aim to return to medical liver disease in 2027.

Medical Examiner Training - Virtual

Medical Examiner Training is aimed at senior doctors who wish to apply for, or have already been appointed to, the role of medical examiner in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Gibraltar. Eligibility criteria and employment models are determined locally in England and by NHS Shared Services Partnership in Wales. The College does not make medical examiner appointments and completing the training does not entitle you to employment in this role. Only medically qualified applicants are eligible to apply for membership of the College via the RCPathME route.

Medical Examiner Annual Conference – Virtual Event

Integrated genomic profiling in sarcoma diagnostics: clinical applications of whole-genome, transcriptome and methylation analysis

This event is being delivered in partnership with Illumina.

The speaker will be Dr Felix Haglund de Flon, a clinical pathologist and principal investigator at Karolinska Institutet and Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm. The event will be chaired by Professor Adrienne Flanagan, an academic pathologist/clinician scientist at University College London. A Q&A will follow Dr Haglund de Flon's talk.
